Bee-hold the Pollinator Exihibit

 

avidson Lands Conservancy.  The first Earth Day, which took place on April 22, 1970,  increased the public’s awareness of the world’s environmental problems. Millions of Americans, including students from thousands of colleges and universities, participated in rallies, marches and educational programs across the country.

April 24, 2021 – May 05, 2021

Join us for a special Earth Day themed exhibit, “Bee-Hold the Humble Pollinator” from April 24 through May 5 at the Davidson Parks and Recreation office at 865 South Street, Davidson, NC. Explore the diversity and ecology of bees, the pollination services they provide, the threats they face, and ways people can help support them.  Please keep in mind that face coverings are required to attend this exhibit and other Earth Day activities. On Saturday, April 24 and May 1, preregistration is encouraged, click hereEarth Daybut not required (waiting times may vary).

On Saturday, April 24, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. other outdoor activities will be available in addition to the Bee-Hold the Humble Pollinator exhibit:
